My favorite story this year (of my own): I ridiculously love my unfinished zombie story. It'll probably never get finished but I still ridiculously love it.
My best story this year: I have no idea. I haven't writtten much at all-- anything good I mean-- for me to have one.
Story most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion:lol I don't know. I think that one drabble I wrote was sort of cool and that was the Door, but again, that was when I was super new in the fandom and had no idea wtf was going on.
Most fun story:I have to say the crack that was Anthrax and Hearts. Because honestly, it was pure crack.
Most sexy story: The unfinished canon Axel/Roxas that will probably never be finished. Dear god that had a lot of sex. xD I was new to fandom when I started it. I blame that. Of course, not counting those anonymous things that will not be named. *cough*
Story with single sexiest moment: From the unpublished, unfinished and will never be completed Axel/Roxas canon (I was young, forgive me):
“Axel, there’s something I need to tell you.”
Axel only murmured a response, arching his back and trying to stop his hips from rocking forward into Roxas’s mouth. He was considerate like that, unlike Roxas who would thrust with wild abandon whenever their positions were reversed. It had irked Axel for awhile, but he’d finally accepted that Roxas just didn’t have the control that Axel had learned and it was because he was a little younger. Which, for some reason, made Axel laugh. And sort of blush.
“Can you wait for like three more minutes?” Axel asked, his voice breathy and hiss-like as he fisted Roxas’s hair, holding on for dear life. “I swear I’ll listen to you then.”
“Axel, it’s important.”
The vibrations around his skin were enough to make him moan slightly. “Just three more minutes Roxas, I promise. If it involves your mouth and my face though, then I’d be happy to hear it, but if not can you just keep doing what you’re doing, please?” His back arched again as a shiver ghosted up and down his length. He didn’t know where Roxas had learned, but it was damn well enough for Axel every time.
“Axel, come on, it’s really important.”
“Is there a fucking reason you couldn’t talk to me about it before you started giving me head?” Axel demanded a breathless second later, gripping Roxas’s hair tighter. “Because honestly, I really don’t think there’s anything more important at this very second then finishing what you’re doing because if you don’t…if you don’t… ahhh…I’m going to very fucking displeased with you,” and he ended with another moan as he felt Roxas’s tongue slide ever so gently again and fucking hell, he was going to die.
“Reason Number One,” Roxas said, and then looked up at Axel, off the paper, reciting from memory, “Rabbits are cute (see Reason Number Two). Cute things make people smile. Roxas doesn’t smile enough.”
Axel smiled through the wince again, and then made a noise in his throat, thinking that all this had been too silly, and then Roxas grabbed his head and kissed him again, pulling him closer. Axel went willingly and pressed close to Roxas, thinking that maybe foraging through the woods and landing on his head trying to chase something that hadn’t been as pregnant as Richard Adams wasn’t all in vain, after all.
“You make me smile enough, Axel,” Roxas said, very softly into Axel’s neck. “But thanks anyway.”
Most unintentionally *telling* story: There are two, on up for you to read and one not. Dust and Glass Streets was based off an experience I had with someone at my work and the conversation between Axel and Roxas is somewhat telling about my views on life. Or, well, a lot telling. And this unfinished AU Axel/Roxas I'm working on definitely sort of tells a lot about me. Paritally because Roxas has my job and Axel is the part of my life I always wish to happen when I'm at work. :3
"Holy crap, that's *wrong*, even for you" story: Uh, the whole zombie thing would probably be squicky for people, especially how it would end if I ever got to it. And of course, the anonymous pieces That-Shall-Not-Be-Named. Oh, and the premise of Anthrax and Hearts is ...weird. xD Plus it's got the lamest title in the history of fucking lame titles.
Most disappointing story: Unfinished zombie story. I miss you unfinished zombie story. At least I stopped at a part where one might be able to consider death as an option for the end. xD
Hardest story to write/Easiest story to write: There's not one that really steps into the arena of "hardest to write" except for this unfinished one, because I've gotten to a point where I could go multiple ways with it. The easiest by far was Anthrax and Hearts. Once I have a steady idea and a scene like that, it just floows.
This year's theme and the story that demonstrates it most: Lol, well, say for a theme Kingdom Hearts because it definitely has dominated my year, writing wise. There's not one story that demonstrates that the most but for my complete stories I feel that Dust and Glass Streets is probably the one I'm most fond of. Paritally because it's really the only serious one. xD
The story that demonstrates best the theme I haven't figured out?: Uh.. the canon Axel/Roxas. Because I have no idea where the hell it was supposed to go? O.o
This was interesting. I don't have much to go on for it but I wanted to try it anyway. At least it kind of summed up how much and what I wrote this year. >.<
