Right well, I went ahead and wrote something after my last self-affirming entry.  No idea.

Name: Feelings Aren't Real
Word Count: 309 (drabble!  Wewtz.)
Characters:  Hmm.  Axel&Roxas.  Vaagueness.
Rating: G.  Nothing at all bad.

Anyway.  Vague for a reason.  And wacky and probably doesn't make any sense but meh.  It's something.

There was something in his eyes that sometimes could take his breath away.  It was something in the way he walked, something in the way his hips swayed, and something in the way those eyes would eat up his own.  They were too intense to be called stars, but they were still the path to the soul, and they were bottomless oceanic surfaces of beauty.

There were too many emotions moving across the skin and not enough movement in his eyes.  They were focused, fixed, trained and true.  They were an ocean they went on forever—into his soul.  The feelings rippled across his cheeks, up into his hairline, and down into his neck but his eyes stayed the same.  There were contortions in his body, there were those little jerks in his hips, and that tenseness in the back; there was the clenching in his muscles and the parting of his lips but his eyes were the same.

Bottomless.  Endless.  Eternal.

Blue or green, he didn’t know, they were the same.  Shutterboxes that snapped back and forth, closed breathlessly, and then opened with that same determined gaze.  Fixed, trained, true on what he was watching.  On what was happening.  Every motion, every movement, every detail recorded, through his eyes, past his neck, down his chest, and into his heart.

No.  He didn’t have a heart.

Into his soul.

He watched those shaded lamps close, the gaze shattered, and when they opened, he swore the saw something in them, something that had nothing to do with the movements of their bodies, nothing to do with the desire racing through their frames, or the heat in the air that moved around them like a gently descending wave.

It was something that had to with his soul, and not his heart.

But he couldn’t tell the difference.  It was the same.
