In this story (and one of my others), Demyx is supposed to be this rather... intruding kid who means no harm. He wouldn't really yell fire on the rabbit or anything else to management, so I think he's just trying to pester Axel and Roxas in a very nonthreatening, brotherly sort of way. They're homeboys and chill if the chance arises. ;)
