It's a christmas themed snack

Can I just say that I loved this week's HIMYM to itty bitty pieces?  It was so perfect.  I was all self-righteously indignant at the beginning because of Robin's storyline and was going to rant about how they've thrashed her character in terms of her career (I guess this is still relevant, even with the ending, but that's for another time) but I just ended up laughing and smiling.  The last few eps we've had have been pretty strong, and I love the direction this season is taking.  It feels like to me that they skip strong seasons - seasons 2 and 4 are my favorite, with 3 and 5 being "meh," even with the gems in the season 3 (because I feel like season 5 had so little) .  Season 1 is exempt since it was the first, though I did feel like the show hit its stride with Ted and Robin together (I still love them together - as much, if not more, than Barney/Robin).

Anyway, that's my fandom rant of the week.
