Summary: When Roxas stands on the edges of buildings, he tries to see into some eternity. When Axel stands on the edges of buildings, he tries to see how he'd survive a fourteen floor fall.
Notes: This story was my Nano back in November. I hit 50k, shoved it away for a few months, and started writing again in February. The title comes from the band Barcelona, from the song “Response,” off the album Absolutes. Check them out. They make gorgeous music.
( The last time that Roxas had jumped from a building, he had never considered the possibility that he might live through the ordeal. There had been a lot of panicked screams, someone shouting about a terrorist and then for an ambulance, and then, quite remarkably, a pigeon. )
