Feb. 7th, 2008 04:56 pm I discovered that if I had inquired and been serious before, I could be graduating with my AA degree this semester. >.< I only need six more classes for it--if I had been serious i could have done it (one's a writing class and the other is just a lab). But no. I mean, I don't even really know what you can do with an AA degree. Wait! Yes I do. You can sub-teach I think. I think? Maybe. That's what the girl I sit next to in my ed class says.
In any case, at least I have a goal for the rest of the year. By the end of this year I willbaring malady and death get my AA degree. That's a goal I can aspire to. Srsly have no idea what I can do with it, but it'll take me closer to my BA. Somehow. Someway. It also looks like if I srsly want to get my degree from NAU...I have to go back to NAU. :-/ I don't know. I loved Flagstaff but...I'm a movement type of person and walking through the trees and downtown bored me after the first six months. But apartments there are ridiculously overpriced. And if my dad gets the condo then I kind of have to live there.
But I don't wanna go to ASU. :-/
Okay well, that's still another year off. I shall focus on the AA. So hopefully if I play my cards right and get my life semi on-track I will recieve my BA (this is just a very rough estimate)... by 2011. Wtf year are in now? 2008. Right. Yes. Maybe by the end of 2010. I don't believe I will graduate in the projected four years. Which is fine. I don't really care. 4.5--5 years is what I expected. By that time I'll be um..22 or 23 since my birthday is rather late.
Well. At least I have some sort of pojection. I'm rather pissed at myself for not finding out about the AA sooner. This past year it's been more about finding money for rent and food than it was about school (how I scraped by with 3.5 I have no idea). I need to actually focus this semester.
